These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of e-foil.mu and all commercial transactions with Onyx Dynamics Ltd, trading as OceanFly™, including eFoil equipment sales, demo sessions, quotes, and after-sales support in Mauritius.
By placing an order, booking a demo, requesting a quote, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

OceanFly™ is an authorised dealer for Lift Foils and Fliteboard products in Mauritius. These Terms apply to all brands and product lines sold through our Website, showrooms, demo sessions, and direct sales channels unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
2. Website Use
- Content on this Website (specifications, prices, imagery, guides) is provided for information only and does not constitute a binding offer until confirmed in writing.
- We reserve the right to correct errors, update pricing, and modify product availability without prior notice.
- You may not scrape, copy, or republish Website content without our written permission. See our Imprint for copyright details.
3. Quotes, Orders & Payment
- Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote document, or 14 days if no expiry is specified.
- Payments must be cleared within 7 days of invoice issuance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Orders for items not in stock will only be processed after successful payment.
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated at checkout or on your invoice. All prices are quoted in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) unless stated otherwise.
4. Delivery
- In-stock items: Delivery will be completed within 7 days of payment clearance, subject to scheduling and location within Mauritius.
- Imported / made-to-order items: Standard lead times are up to 3 months. Delays caused by weather, customs, shipping carriers, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may occur.
- If a paid import order has not arrived within 6 months, the customer may withdraw from the contract and receive a full refund of amounts paid for the undelivered goods.
- Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery and signed handover, or collection from our premises.
5. Custom Import Orders
Custom import orders — including non-standard configurations, colours, or factory-direct shipments — are non-reversible and non-changeable once payment has been made, because they are placed with third-party manufacturers on your behalf.
6. Demo Sessions
- Demo rides are subject to availability, suitable weather and water conditions, and our safety assessment on the day.
- Participants must follow all safety instructions, wear required protective equipment, and disclose relevant health or fitness conditions before entering the water.
- Demo deposits or session fees, where applicable, will be applied toward a qualifying eFoil purchase as stated at booking.
- We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if we believe continued participation would pose a safety risk.
7. Inspection, Returns & Defects
- Products must be inspected for transport damage or visible defects upon delivery.
- Claims for damaged or defective items must be reported at the time of delivery. Later claims for transport damage may not be accepted.
- Manufacturing defects covered under warranty must be reported promptly in accordance with Section 11. Returns for change-of-mind are not accepted on eFoil equipment unless required by applicable consumer law.
8. Product Use & Safety
- Customers are responsible for reading and following the manufacturer's user manual and all operating and safety instructions.
- Appropriate safety gear (impact vest, helmet where recommended) must be worn.
- Customers must comply with local laws and regulations governing personal watercraft and hydrofoil use in Mauritius.
- OceanFly™ is not liable for injuries, accidents, property damage, or losses caused by improper use, failure to follow safety guidelines, riding in prohibited areas, or unauthorised modifications.
9. Pricing & Taxes
Unless otherwise specified on your quote or invoice, displayed prices include applicable VAT and standard import duties for stock held in Mauritius. Custom import orders may be quoted ex-works or with duties itemised separately — your invoice is the definitive record.
10. Cancellation
Standard orders may be cancelled before payment has been made without charge. Once payment is received, cancellation is subject to Sections 5 and 7 above.
11. Force Majeure
OceanFly™ is not liable for delays or non-fulfillment caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, customs delays, shipping disruptions, supplier shortages, or government action.
12. Warranty
OceanFly™ acts as a distributor and authorised reseller of eFoil equipment. Warranty coverage varies by brand. All products are sold as new and are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty. We do not offer warranty beyond what is stated here but may assist with service coordination and spare parts where available.
12.1 Lift Foils Products
Warranty claims for Lift Foils products must be submitted directly to Lift Foils at warranty@liftfoils.com. Standard Lift Foils warranty terms apply to all eligible purchases. OceanFly™ provides local support and maintains commonly needed spare parts subject to availability.
OceanFly™ is not responsible for Lift Foils' final determination on warranty claims and is not liable for delays, costs, or decisions made by Lift Foils during claim processing.
12.2 Fliteboard Products
Fliteboard products sold by OceanFly™ are covered by a limited manufacturer's warranty of two (2) years or two hundred (200) operational hours, whichever occurs first, from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.
All Fliteboard products must be registered via the official Fliteboard registration system. Failure to register may void warranty coverage.
A mandatory service must be completed within twelve (12) months of delivery or after one hundred (100) hours of operation, whichever comes first. Service must be performed by OceanFly™ or another authorised Fliteboard service provider. Proof of service may be required for warranty claims.
Full Fliteboard warranty terms are published at support.fliteboard.com. Customers are responsible for familiarising themselves with current manufacturer requirements.
12.3 Warranty Exclusions (all brands)
Warranty exclusions include, but are not limited to:
- Commercial, rental, instructional, or other non-private use
- Lack of maintenance or missed mandatory service intervals
- Damage from negligence, misuse, improper storage or transport
- Use of unauthorised parts, accessories, or third-party modifications
- Cosmetic wear, exposure damage, corrosion, or normal wear and tear
- Unauthorized repairs or disassembly attempts
- Failure to register the product per manufacturer requirements
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Mauritian law, our total liability arising from any order or service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
14. Privacy
Personal data collected during sales, demos, and Website use is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
